BOMB RECOVERED! Well not really, this is just a display of Tybee's weird sense of humor. Billy
Pye, who assembled this "bomb" with his buddies, stands beside it on the beach Feb. 15, just prior to the real "Tybee Bomb" meeting in City Hall. He's not alone in his amusing but spurious claim to having recovered the nuclear weapon, however. Cafe Loco proprietor Joel Solomon called to say he has the real weapon...it's the one that's been hanging at his restaurant for a couple of years now. If you're not from Tybee, you probably won't get any of this, but lot's of locals think it's a hoot!
