Hello Auxiliary Members,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new members of the Auxiliary.
We have some applications out and look forward to receiving those and welcoming

for membership. Thank you to the existing members for paying your dues promptly.
For those of you who have not, please help us reach our 100% renewal goal.
I was speaking with Lillian Brown, our very own line dance instructor, and she said that many of you wanted to begin line dancing but did not know how. She will be starting a new class and instruct the basics beginning September 10 at 7 PM at the Legion. Come on out! Those who already participate can also help you out!
The Legion will host the September 11 Patriot Day Community Event at the Legion at 6:30 PM. This will be a covered dish supper followed by a patriotic program. We will be presenting Blue Star Banners to those who have active duty military family members. The Blue Star Banner hung in the window of the home lets others know that a family member is proudly serving in active duty. Please let us know if you wish to receive a Blue Star Banner so that we can be sure that we have enough. You can turn your name in to the bartenders and we will have a Banner for presentation to you during the program. I look forward to seeing you at this very moving tribute.
The next meeting will be September 8th with social at 6 and meeting at 7. Until then, I look forward to seeing you at the Legion.
