Marlyce Kling left her lifelong home in late 1998. "Rumination acompanies autumn in Iowa," she says, "so the habit tagged along to Tybee."
Immediately, her new life in the Sough prompted comparisions. She notes, "The exploration of polarities provides a lot of raw material for a writer. This move has been a good Humpty Dumpty experience, because I'm finding the better part of the pieces."
A former teacher and newspaper editor, Kling now spends her time writing, practicing yoga, bicycling and gardening. "But, I always pick the flowers first," she laughs.
