The 2003 Polar Bear Swim witnessed record numbers for the un-event. Unofficial numbers released today from the unofficials were 60 swimmers while over 300 witnessed the unofficial event from the beach.

Excellent weather with unusually high water temperature (52 degrees) [unofficial of course] drew out folks from all over. Word has it that folks from as far away as Kansas attended this years un-event.

• First human-pet swim team (Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Bring a hampster instead)
