Solar Bus Stop Lights

Chatham County CAT has selected Coastal Solar Technology, Inc and their vendor for solar bus stop lights. The pilot program has 5 solar bus stop lights strategically placed around Savannah, GA to provide lighting to dark bus stops. Initial reaction to the lights has been very positive from the customers of CAT, the bus drivers who feel safer picking up passengars in the evening and also positive input has been received from the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department. Where there is light there is less crime.
