1. When moving heavy furniture, place a mat or a piece of carpet face down under a plywood sheet, this will distribute the weight and avoid scratching or denting in your floor surface.

2. Stick felt pads under any appliances or furniture; this will prevent scratches when moving it.

3. Immediately wipe out spills of any kind of liquid such as water, detergent and oils. Always protect your floor from excess of moisture.

4. Remove dust and sand by sweeping or vacuuming regularly your floor, keeping your floor clean is healthy and prevent your finish from scratches.

5. Pet claws can scratch your floor, it is highly recommended to keep the pet claws trimmed.

6. Be careful with pointed as they can scratch and dent your floor. Spike-heeled shoes are a common cause of
scratches especially when their protective cap is missing.

7. It is highly recommended to use mats on the entrances to prevent sand to build-up on the floor.

8. Do not use cleaning agents that are not specifically designed to clean wood floor. Any kind of cleaning detergents, waxes or oils can severely damage the floor finish.

9. Wood flooring is a light sensitive product the exposure to excess of sunlight might change the color of your floor, use drapes or blinds to block the excess of sunlight. Are rugs should be removed occasionally as they block all the light and this might cause a discoloration appearance under the rug.
